Michael Jackson Tribute Meet
An incredible Michael Jackson Tribute artist lookalike, sound alike and dance alike. Unlike most tribute acts out there, Jay Styles also has a close resemblance to the king of pop.
Jay Styles sings 100% live and performs mesmerising dance routines from Thriller to Smooth Criminal along with a duo of professional dancers. His performance has been seen by the Jackson family and he has moon walked his way throughout the World - including Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Poland, UK Bahrain and Dubai. This Michael Jackson Tribute show includes all the greatest Michael Jackson hits from the Jackson 5 to the solo masterpieces.

Working Meet March 2026
Our Working Meets are always popular and tend to fill up quickly. They’re open to members like you who enjoy coming together to support the Camping and Caravanning Club by generously volunteering some time to help care for the Canterbury Club Site.
The tasks are varied and suitable for all abilities, from light maintenance, painting and general tidying, to de-weeding, organising, or being the all-important tea and coffee maker. Whether you’re handy with a paint brush or power drill, or simply enjoy being outdoors and lending a hand, there’s something for everyone.
In return for your volunteer time, the meet is completely free, with electricity, toilets and showers included. A complimentary lunch is also provided on Saturday. These weekends are as much about the company as the work; working together, sharing skills, and enjoying a friendly, community atmosphere. Places are limited and these meets are well loved, so early booking is recommended.
Bring your tools, litter pickers and can do attitude.

Easter Meet, EKDA 95th Anniversary Celebration and AGM
Celebrate the Easter Weekend with us! Enjoy a warm, friendly atmosphere with plenty to do for all ages. With an ‘egg’citing itinerary from Panto Bingo to live entertainment on Easter Sunday from Ozzie and the Uglies band and celebrating the EKDAs 95th Anniversary (est 1931). The meet takes place close to the historic town of Faversham, with easy access to charming shops, scenic spring walks, local farm visits, and weekend farmers’ markets for those who want to soak up the spring season countryside feel. Expect family friendly activities, good company, and of course plenty of chocolate throughout the weekend.

Sissinghurst Cricket Club
Join us for a relaxed weekend of camping and caravanning at Sissinghurst Cricket Club, set in the heart of the Kent countryside. This is a laid back, social weekend with plenty of space to unwind, enjoy good company, and soak up village life.
We will be based on the cricket club grounds, with the option to relax and enjoy a drink in the Club House during its opening hours. Whether you’re bringing a tent, caravan, or motorhome, this meet is all about slowing down and enjoying a peaceful, friendly setting.
Sissinghurst Castle Garden is within walking distance and makes a lovely day out, with its famous gardens, historic buildings, and countryside views. The surrounding area is ideal for gentle walks and exploring quiet village lanes.
There are local convenience stores just a very short walk away, making it easy to pick up essentials during the weekend. The Milk House village pub is also popular for food and drink just 5 minutes walk from the cricket ground, and a short drive will take you into Cranbrook and neighbouring villages where you’ll find additional pubs, cafés, shops, and amenities.
This meet is ideal for those looking for a calm, sociable weekend with the option to explore one of Kent’s most picturesque villages or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Slough Fort
Slough Fort sits right on the Thames Estuary at Allhallows and makes a great spot for a relaxed meet over the Bank Holiday weekend. The estuary here gives real sandy and stony beach side vibes, perfect for gentle walks, fresh air, and watching the water. The fort itself is a restored Victorian coastal defence, and guided tours are available at a small extra cost if you fancy learning more about its history and having a look around inside.
During the weekend there is access to a 24 hour toilet, a communal fire pit, and some indoor space available.
The site sits next to Haven Kent Coast Holiday Park, with access through a coded gate. This gives you the option to make use of their food outlets (such as Burger King, Papa Johns, Fish & Chips etc.), a Wetherspoon, and a play park, along with other paid activities if you wish, including an aerial adventure, crazy golf, fishing lake and more. Please note this does not include use of the swimming pool or clubhouse, which are exclusive to Haven customers.
If you’re looking to explore a bit further, there’s plenty nearby. Within a short drive you’ll find Fenn Bell Zoo, which makes a great family day out, as well as the Isle of Grain coastal walks, offering wide estuary views and peaceful walking routes.
With coastal scenery, interesting history, and a relaxed social feel, this meet is ideal for those looking for a quiet coastal break over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Acol Farm, Birchington - Manston International Airshow Weekend
Join EKDA for a relaxed weekend of camping and caravanning at Acol Farm, set in open countryside on the Isle of Thanet. This spacious, rural site offers a peaceful setting for a sociable weekend, with plenty of room to unwind and enjoy time on site or head out to explore the local area.
Acol Farm is well placed for nearby coastal towns and beaches, with Birchington, Minnis Bay, and Margate all close by, offering coastal walks, cafés, shops, and seaside views.
The Manston International Airshow is also taking place that weekend, at Manston Airport, just 2–3 miles away. Campers who wish to attend the airshow can easily travel to the event locally. For those staying on site, it’s also possible that some aircraft may be visible or audible from the campsite during display times, depending on flight paths, weather, and scheduling, though this can’t be guaranteed.
This meet is ideal whether you’re planning a quiet weekend on site, exploring the local coastline, or using the site as a relaxed base while attending the nearby Manston International Airshow, all while enjoying the friendly, sociable atmosphere of an EKDA meet.

Penshurst Place
Set within the historic parkland of Penshurst Place, this EKDA meet offers a peaceful weekend surrounded by some of Kent’s most beautiful countryside.
A real highlight of this meet is free access to Penshurst Place House and Gardens during your stay. The historic house offers a fascinating glimpse into centuries of English history, while the gardens are among the oldest in England, featuring formal gardens, woodland walks, and riverside views.
The local area has plenty to offer, with the village of Penshurst close by and the town of Tonbridge just a short drive away for shops, cafés, pubs, and other amenities. The surrounding countryside is also ideal for gentle walks and enjoying the rural setting.

Reynolds Farm
Reynolds Farm at Marshside is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, offering a spacious, open camping field in a peaceful rural setting. This makes it an ideal choice for a relaxed and sociable EKDA meet, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy countryside camping with a laid-back atmosphere.
The site has 24-hour access to showers and toilets, along with an enclosed shared area for washing up, which includes a couple of electric cooking rings, a kettle, and a small fridge. A communal fire pit is available on site, making it a great spot for relaxed social evenings.
The surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling, with quiet country lanes and open landscapes. Marshside itself has a local fishery and a village pub, both around a 20-minute walk from the site.
The historic village of Reculver is a short drive away and well worth a visit, offering a beach, a pub, and the iconic Reculver Towers. For a family-friendly day out, Howletts Wild Animal Park and Canterbury are both around 15–20 minutes away by car.
NB: Please do not use the postcode in your sat nav, as this may take you to the farm’s B&B rather than the camping field. Ramsgate, Chatham House: Temporary Holiday Site (THS)
This Temporary Holiday Site (THS) at Chatham House is ideally located in the heart of Ramsgate, making it a fantastic base for a seaside holiday with plenty to see and do right on your doorstep.
You’ll be within easy walking distance of Ramsgate’s sandy beaches, seafront walks, and the lively Royal Harbour, where you’ll find a wide choice of cafés, pubs, and restaurants. It’s a great location for relaxed days by the sea, harbour strolls, boat watching, or simply enjoying fish and chips with a coastal view.
There’s lots to explore locally, including the fascinating Ramsgate Tunnels, Ellington Park, coastal paths, and seasonal harbour boat trips. Jemmett Farm - Farriers Arms Festival Weekend
Jemmett Farm offers a relaxed countryside base for an EKDA meet in a traditional Kent village setting, surrounded by open fields, quiet lanes, and scenic walking routes. It’s an ideal spot for those who enjoy rural camping with the added bonus of a lively village atmosphere close by.
Just a five-minute walk from the campsite is The Farriers Arms, a well loved countryside pub that is usually a relaxed local, serving food and drink to the village. For one weekend only, the pub transforms into weekend festival venue for the Farriers Festival, bringing live music and entertainment to the heart of the village.
Across the festival weekend there is a full programme of live music, along with a large beer and cider tent offering 20+ varieties to enjoy. Festival tickets are booked and paid for separately, giving campers the flexibility to dip in and out of the event as much or as little as they like.
Back at Jemmett Farm, the atmosphere remains calm and sociable. Music can often be heard gently in the distance from the campsite, drifting across the fields and adding a relaxed musical backdrop to the evenings without overwhelming the campsite setting.
There’s also plenty to explore nearby if you fancy heading out during the day. The Mersham Deer Park is close by and offers a peaceful woodland walk where deer are often spotted, making it a lovely countryside outing. Little Groves is a Temporary Holiday Site (THS) in Leysdown-on-Sea, offering a relaxed seaside base with plenty close by.
The beach and promenade at Leysdown make an easy place to spend time, whether that’s walking, sitting by the sea, or just enjoying being on the coast. The seafront has arcades, food outlets, and the sort of summer entertainment you’d expect from a traditional seaside town, all within easy reach of the site.
Leysdown itself has a good mix of shops, takeaways, pubs, and places to eat, and there’s often something going on locally during the season, from live music to small events along the seafront. Everything is close enough to dip in and out without needing big plans.

Seasonal highlights during your stay (13th–23rd August)
August is peak summer season on the Isle of Sheppey, with plenty happening across the island and along the coast. These dates usually coincide with the Sheerness Seaside Festival, a week-long seaside event held in Sheerness, featuring a mix of community activities, live music, stalls, and fairground-style entertainment along the seafront.

Rye Rugby Football Club is a Temporary Holiday Site (THS) in Rye, offering a relaxed base close to one of the South East’s most characterful historic towns, with countryside and coast both within easy reach. During your stay, toilets and showers are available for use when the club is open, and you’re also welcome to make use of the on-site clubhouse bar during opening hours. It’s a nice option to have nearby while still enjoying the flexibility of a holiday-style stay.

Faversham Hop Festival, The Abbey School
The Abbey School provides a convenient and relaxed base for this EKDA meet in Faversham, offering an ideal location for enjoying one of Kent’s most well-known and long-established festivals.
A short walk from the site takes you into Faversham town centre, where the Faversham Hop Festival takes place each year. The festival is spread across the town rather than being based at a single venue, with activity centred around the historic streets, parks, pubs, and open spaces.
Across the festival weekend there is a full programme of live music and entertainment, typically running across multiple stages around the town, alongside beer tents, food stalls, artisan markets, street performers, and family-friendly activities. The festival usually offers a wide mix of music styles and entertainment throughout the day and into the evening.
These dates usually coincide with the Faversham Hop Festival, which is traditionally held on the first weekend of September. Murder Mystery Meet, Lydden
Join us for our Murder Mystery event at Lydden Farm, a sociable EKDA meet set in a relaxed rural location just outside Margate.
The site has 24-hour access to toilets, and a barn is available for evening entertainment, giving everyone a shared space to come together once the day winds down.
The highlight of the weekend is a full murder mystery role-play evening, where everyone taking part is allocated a character in advance. Campers are encouraged to dress up as their character, step into the story, and help unravel the mystery as it unfolds. It’s designed to be fun, interactive, and light-hearted, with plenty of opportunity to get involved, enjoy the drama, and share a few laughs along the way.
During the day, there’s time to relax on site or head out locally, before coming together in the evening for the main event.
This meet is all about getting involved, getting into character and enjoying a shared evening of storytelling, ‘who done it’ and fun.

Halloween Rally, Sheerness
Join us for a spooktacular Halloween Rally, set right by the seafront and within easy reach of the town.
This is a hard-standing only site, with use of the hall and toilets available during the meet.
Halloween is very much the focus of the weekend, with plenty planned for all ages. Activities will include caravan trick-or-treating, decorating your caravan and evening table, Halloween crafts, and an evening disco with Halloween fancy dress.
Alongside the Halloween activities, we’ll be holding an auction and raffle, with funds raised going towards Christmas presents and children’s entertainment for the Christmas Rally and other EKDA meets.
