Working Meet March 2026

  • Canterbury Camping and Caravanning Club Site Bekesbourne Lane Canterbury, England, CT3 4AB what3words: belts.fallen.pipes (map)

Our Working Meets are always popular and tend to fill up quickly. They’re open to members like you who enjoy coming together to support the Camping and Caravanning Club by generously volunteering some time to help care for the Canterbury Club Site.

The tasks are varied and suitable for all abilities, from light maintenance, painting and general tidying, to de-weeding, organising, or being the all-important tea and coffee maker. Whether you’re handy with a paint brush or power drill, or simply enjoy being outdoors and lending a hand, there’s something for everyone.

In return for your volunteer time, the meet is completely free, with electricity, toilets and showers included. A complimentary lunch is also provided on Saturday. These weekends are as much about the company as the work; working together, sharing skills, and enjoying a friendly, community atmosphere. Places are limited and these meets are well loved, so early booking is recommended.

Bring your tools, litter pickers and can do attitude.
