Terms & Conditions of Booking

When you make a booking through this site, you and all members of your party agree to the following:

2. Booking & Payment

  • Your booking is only confirmed once any required deposit or full payment has been received.

  • Please ensure all details provided (including unit size, arrival time, and membership information) are accurate.

  • Booking payments are non-refundable, unless due to exceptional circumstances, in which case refunds may be issued at the discretion of the committee.

  • For some events, there may be entertainment or activities that require an additional payment. These are charged separately and are non-refundable.

  • All adults staying overnight on site must be current members of The Camping and Caravanning Club and have shown their membership card to the site steward. Non-members are not permitted to stay overnight.

  • Units are booked on the basis of a maximum of two adults staying per unit. Any additional member adults (over two per unit) will be charged an extra per-adult, per-night fee, payable directly to the site stewards on arrival. Please check with them for current pricing.

  • Non-members may visit during the day, but must leave the site by the agreed time. A day guest / day visitor fee will apply, payable directly to the site stewards on arrival, please check with them for current pricing.

  • For Temporary Holiday Sites (THS) only: At Temporary Holiday Sites (THS), non-member guests may stay overnight only if they are staying in a member’s unit and the appropriate guest fee is paid directly to the site stewards. Non-members are not permitted to stay in their own unit. Please speak to the stewards on arrival for current guest fees. Please be aware most of our events and meets are not THS’. If you are unsure whether an event is a THS please contact the committee to confirm on eastkentda@outlook.com.

3. Arrival & Pitching

  • Arrival must not be before the published site opening time for your arrival day.

  • On arrival, please check in with the site stewards before pitching your unit.

4. Use of Site & Behaviour

  • The site is for recreational camping and caravanning only.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your party behave considerately, respect fellow campers, and comply with site safety and fire regulations.

5. Non-Compliance

  • Failure to comply with these Terms, the Site Rules, or the The Camping and Caravanning Club Rules may result in removal from the site and/or refusal of future bookings.

6. Amendments & Cancellations

  • Should you need to make any amendments, cancellations, or changes to your booking, please contact us directly at eastkentda@outlook.com.

  • From time to time, changes may need to be made to the advertised dates, location, entertainment schedule, or other event details. By booking, you agree to accept changes as required. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.

  • EKDA reserves the right to amend or cancel bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather or safety concerns. Where the EKDA cancels an event, a full refund will be provided.

As soon as you are a member you will be assigned to a District Association (DA). This will be the closest DA to where you live and shown on your membership card. You are then free to go camping with any of the 93 DA's over 13 Regions in the UK.
