Jemmett Farm offers a relaxed countryside base for an EKDA meet in a traditional Kent village setting, surrounded by open fields, quiet lanes, and scenic walking routes. It’s an ideal spot for those who enjoy rural camping with the added bonus of a lively village atmosphere close by.
Just a five-minute walk from the campsite is The Farriers Arms, a well loved countryside pub that is usually a relaxed local, serving food and drink to the village. For one weekend only, the pub transforms into weekend festival venue for the Farriers Festival, bringing live music and entertainment to the heart of the village.
Across the festival weekend there is a full programme of live music, along with a large beer and cider tent offering 20+ varieties to enjoy. Festival tickets are booked and paid for separately, giving campers the flexibility to dip in and out of the event as much or as little as they like.
Back at Jemmett Farm, the atmosphere remains calm and sociable. Music can often be heard gently in the distance from the campsite, drifting across the fields and adding a relaxed musical backdrop to the evenings without overwhelming the campsite setting.
There’s also plenty to explore nearby if you fancy heading out during the day. The Mersham Deer Park is close by and offers a peaceful woodland walk where deer are often spotted, making it a lovely countryside outing. For something completely different, Ashford Designer Outlet is a short drive away, with a wide range of shops, cafés, and places to stop for a bite to eat.
Whether you’re coming over to enjoy the festival, exploring the surrounding footpaths and lanes, or simply relaxing on site with good company, this meet offers a great mix of Kent village life, countryside calm, and laid back festival vibes.
