Seasonal highlights during your stay (13th–23rd August)

August is peak summer season on the Isle of Sheppey, with plenty happening across the island and along the coast. These dates usually coincide with the Sheerness Seaside Festival, a week-long seaside event held in Sheerness, featuring a mix of community activities, live music, stalls, and fairground-style entertainment along the seafront.

Alongside this, Leysdown’s seafront, arcades, and amusements are fully active during August, and local pubs and venues across the island often host seasonal entertainment. Local noticeboards and venue listings are a good way to see what’s happening during your stay.
