Seasonal highlights during your stay (13th–23rd August)

August is peak summer season on the Isle of Sheppey, with plenty happening across the island and along the coast. These dates usually coincide with the Sheerness Seaside Festival, a week-long seaside event held in Sheerness, featuring a mix of community activities, live music, stalls, and fairground-style entertainment along the seafront.

The festival programme and exact dates are typically confirmed closer to the time, so watch this space for festival dates to be confirmed.

Alongside this, Leysdown’s seafront, arcades, and amusements are fully active during August, and local pubs and venues across the island often host seasonal entertainment. Local noticeboards and venue listings are a good way to see what’s happening during your stay.

This THS offers an easy seaside base for enjoying the beach, local attractions, and time by the coast, with the freedom to come and go as you please.
