A Delightful Weekend at Penshurst Place
The East Kent District Association (EKDA) recently enjoyed a peaceful and picturesque weekend meet at the historic Penshurst Place, and what a lovely time it was.
Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, Penshurst Place provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Members of the club spent the weekend exploring the magnificent house and gardens, soaking in the rich history and stunning architecture that dates back to the 14th century.
The beautifully maintained gardens, with their vibrant blooms and peaceful pathways, offered a tranquil escape for a leisurely stroll. Many of us took the opportunity to wander through the grand halls of the house, learning about its fascinating past and the generations who once called it home.
After exploring, we treated ourselves to a well-earned sweet treat in the Penshurst café, where the cakes and refreshments were just as delightful as the surroundings.
It was a weekend filled with calm, culture, and good company—everything we love about our caravan meets. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the trip so enjoyable.
We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
