Charity Weekend Raises Over £1,000 for KSS Air Ambulance

The East Kent District Association (EKDA) held a heartwarming charity meet over the weekend in support of the Kent, Surrey & Sussex (KSS) Air Ambulance—and what a weekend it was!

With Sunshine, smiles, and a strong community spirit, the event was packed with fun activities for all ages. Families and friends gathered on site to enjoy a variety of games and attractions, including crowd favourites like Hook-a-Duck, Coconut Shy, Find the Hidden Treasure, and Play Your Cards Right. The kids had a blast bouncing around on the inflatable bouncy castle, while laughter echoed during the much-loved Welly Wanging competition.

Sweet treats were in abundance thanks to our popular homemade cake stand, and a visit from the ice cream van helped everyone cool down in the summer sun.

The highlight of the weekend? Raising an incredible £1,068.42 for the KSS Air Ambulance—a charity close to the hearts of many in our community.

This fantastic total is a testament to the generosity, hard work, and enthusiasm of our members and supporters. EKDA would like to thank everyone who attended, volunteered, baked, played, and donated. Every effort made a difference.

Together, we made memories and a meaningful contribution to a life-saving cause.

Here’s to more great weekends ahead—camping, community, and giving back!
