Camping, Karaoke & a Touch of Jazz in Rye!
This past week, we enjoyed a fantastic Temporary Holiday Site (THS) in the historic town of Rye. We set up camp at the welcoming local rugby ground, which proved to be the perfect base — just a short five-minute walk into the heart of town.
Rye itself was buzzing with atmosphere, as the annual Jazz and Blues Festival filled the streets with music and energy. Members took full advantage of the town’s great selection of pubs, restaurants, and charming shops, making it a memorable weekend of both relaxation and exploration.
Back at the site, the weather couldn’t have been better. Warm days and clear evenings gave us the chance to enjoy plenty of socialising with both familiar faces and new friends. Highlights included a fun karaoke session and a cosy film night, which brought everyone together for laughter and entertainment.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, showcasing the best of camping camaraderie, local culture, and summer sunshine.
